Established Coffee | Williar Joven - Colombia | 250g

In what has become a bit of a go-to in the last year, we have another delicious washed coffee from Colombia as our green label "coffee no. 1". Williar Joven is a very experienced producer, having owned Primavera for over 34 years. Alongside his wife, they also oversee production of coffee at Finca La Ceya and La Battalla. 

Williar has planted many varieties of coffee on his farm and this lot is comprised of Castillo and Pink Bourbon. This coffee is a delicious example of the time care and attention put in at the farm level to give such a crisp, clean cup and flavours.

We really enjoy the depth in sweetness, body and acidity in the cup. We get a round and smooth mouthfeel with flavours of caramel, golden syrup and soft milk chocolate. There's dark fruits like blackberry, blackcurrant and red apple, alongside a bright magic and citrus acidity that gives a bright, clean finish and reminds us of orange sherbet. 

We're looking forward to drinking this coffee on the daily for the next couple of months as we head in to May and the summer months ahead.
