Located just outside Yirgacheffe town, Koke Washing Station has 10 fermentation tanks to process the coffee cherries brought to them by local, smallholder farmers. This area of Ethiopia is renowned for producing excellent coffee due to the high altitudes, iron rich soil, and multitudes of heirloom varieties.
