From the Roasters:
We have worked with Sao Silvestre for the past 6 years, we are very fortunate to have built such a strong partnership with Ismael & Eduardo. Our working relationship continues to see progress year on year. Typically Sao Silvestre is reserved for our Single Origin offering, however, for the third year in a row as a gesture of friendship they have offered us a truly special microlot.
With over 100 years experience in producing the finest coffee in Brazil, the Andrade family started Sao Silvestre in the mid 1990s. We have been working alongside Ismael and Eduardo for four years now. Almost all of Sao Silvestre’s coffee comes from yellow varieties, mainly Icatu and Catuai. These varieties are known to produce amazing sweetness when grown and processed with the attention to detail that the Andrade family continually show.
