The group “Ovejas Syberia” (Translation: Syberian Sheep) comes from an indigenous Cabildo collective of coffee producers of the Misak Ethnic community. They are geographically located in the municipality of Caldono Cauca, Colombia. This area is on the lower part of the slopes of the central mountain range, where the soils are derived from volcanic ash, giving the coffee its unique nuances.
Local climate is warm, the altitude is between 1,500 and 1,750 meters above sea level. Coffee is produced in smallholding areas, which on average do not exceed two hectares, but most producers are seeking environmental protection with agroforestry arrangements and an
